So yesterday as I was typing, Kyra sat at the table eating and I
turned around to ask her if she wanted to read books and take a nap.
She said "uh-huh" so sweetly, so I thought ok just let me finish this
email and then I'll put her down. I turned around not 2 minutes later
and found her on the chair sound asleep. It was so cute.

The third picture is from our family
reunion this last weekend. I love watching little people discover the
world. It makes me sad when I realize this is the last time any of my
kids will be awed by water, or discover how their fingers work or

We are moving up to bigger, better, more
complicated concepts. I'm going to miss the simpleness of little
ones. But then they grow up, the other night I got home and Bryanna
had Kyra wrapped in a blanket rocking her in the rocking chair.
Another moment.
In all the chaos that usually rules my house, life is also
full of moments. You know, the kind that make it all worth it, or
least make you feel like your moving in the right direction.
Sometimes they are obvious and sometimes they are a little hidden.
They seem to pop up at the most random moments. At least around here.

I love this post. I love that Bryanna is rocking Kira in that picture. That is really sweet.I really do love being a mom.
Beautiful, Bryn. You expressed my own sentiments perfectly. That's what I love about being a grandmother - Suddenly you realize you get to re-enjoy and re-live those experiences your own children outgrew that you miss. Thanks for providing so many joyful re-opportunities :).
What cute little kids you have. You can tell they love each other. Cute naked napping baby picture, those are special moments.
