Christmas

We are officially ready for christmas at the Heiner home. Our tree is up(has been since the first)

the stockings are hung. The Nativity it out. Last night we had snowflake mania at the kitchen table and all the girls cut snowflakes out of tissue paper which are now hanging in the windows. Tonight we made our treats for the neighbors (I got too tired and have yet to deliver them. That will be tomorrow's project) and I have got all the christmas presents for the kids in the basement waiting to be wrapped. That means NO MORE SHOPPING!!! YEAH!!!
Now I just need to finish up the homemade presents and then sit, relax, and enjoy December while I wait for Christmas to come. Ha Ha Ha (I think I mean HO HO HO).
Why is it time always seems to go faster than you think. And you(at least me) always seem to think you have plenty of time to get stuff done. So much for my goal of being done with presents by the 1st.
I have to admit I'm actually quite proud of myself for being this far ahead. At least I ought to be done by next week when the kids are out of school.
And with the snow that we now have yeah!! we can just have fun together for the two weeks they are home. I am looking forward to not getting anyone up in the morning. After all, you
all know how late my Girls sleep in. Too bad Kylan is breaking the mold with his 7:oo a.m. wake up time. I'm am trying hard to get him to sleep and we have made it to 8:00 a couple of times.
He realy enjoys getting up with dad at 6:30. I wouldn't mind this too much he goes back to sleep at 8:00 on these mornings, but that is just when it's time to start getting everyone else up for school.
So can we all say hooray for the holiday and the late mornings coming our way!!!!
Don't call the house before 10:00 a.m. LOL

This is our Snowflake making. Hallie just thought it would be a funny picture with a sticker on her nose.

Cambry snipped hers somehow and ended up with a snowflake chain. She loved it.

Bryanna with one of the patterns we used. She made snowflakes the size of a tissue paper sheet.
They are sheetflakes. It looks like we hung laundry in the window to dry instead of snowflakes.I'll have to get a picture of them. Someone might wonder why we would hang up tissue paper with cuts in it as decorations!?
Cambry and her snowflake beard. It's just so Cambry!!!
Here's some I did off patterns from my Grandma.

With some help from Dad, Hallie figured out how to cut a pattern and made a couple of crowns.
We just can't do anything not princessy can we. She was so proud of that crown.

Hallie's awesome snowflake she did. She made Cambry one too that looks pretty good.

This was tonight. I just thought it was sweet and would make you all see this cute picture too.

And I painted my kitchen RED last week. What do you think? I Love it. Kerry says it will grow on him. Eventually. I think it should go all the way up to the ceiling but I don't think my poor husband could handle that much red. It's not quite as bright as it looks in the picture. But close.
I realy like it!!!Happy Holidays to you all. It was fun to see the Heiner's last week and we can't wait to see the Loveless's at Christmas!

I had gotten the girls a treat at the store today. They each got a little box of nerd Candies.
I walked into the pantry tonight and found an empty box sitting on the shelf. Kerry was standing
there so I asked him if he knew why it was there. He said Hallie Said it wasn't empty and she
was saving it for tomorrow. It felt empty so I opened and lo' and behold there was one teeny tiny solitary nerd down in the bottom. Can you see how little it is. Kerry and I thought this was pretty funny So I asked Hallie "do you want to finish this". She thought for a moment and said "No I want to save it for Tomorrow".

Here are pictures from the Discovery gateway.

Riding like a real Cowgirl. On the Head

He couldn't get enough of the water. How cool
We played for a while in the BeeHive with all the Balls. I was the lucky one
who got to crank it so the balls would move up faster.

Kylan was definately not going to be left out of anything.

He definately like trying to chase that ball through the maze.

Unfortanetly he liked sucking on these more than anything but he did eventually
figure out he could put them down some holes

The girls had a ball doing the plays. I believe this was the three little pigs
with a little improve in the costume department.

Bryanna blowing down the house.

Take a bow for such a stupendous performance.
It realy was a lot of fun!!

Lately?!

So I haven't updated anything lately so I thought I would let you all know what we've been up to.
First - Hallie's 6th birthday last month. It was fun. We had a homemade Princess/Unicorn party. Her choice. The princess I could do but the Unicorn I wasn't sure about.

So we made crowns and give everyone a princess skirt or prince shirt so they were all dressed up

Here's Cambry since Hallie refused to make one until later. She did finally make on though. Then we played Hot Potatoe, and had a Unicorn cake walk. (the only way I could think of to get the unicorn half into the party). It was fun and they all collected gold coins for playing, and of course those who wouldn't play(Hallie and one friend) got them for helping and and just being plain cute.
Then they all threw the coins into the wishing well (a pot) and got to make their wish and recieve a bag of treats!!Yeah
The cake didn't work out quite as planned. It was supposed to be a castle but as I was frosting it Hallie said she just wanted a pink and purple cake so we did that instead. It kind of turn out looking like pink and purple snowballs. She liked it though. I hope they are so easily please when they're older!!
So then we had to open presents too. I think everyone had a funtime and they all went home with lots of sugar and treats which is always great when you're five and six.
Here's the boy our little star:) He's growing so fast. He can stand on his own and will walk short distances. Only 9 1/2 months. It's amazing. He'll be walking all the time here pretty quick.

Of Course, Grandma and Grandpa came. Thanks for all the love.

We spent Uea weekend at Grandma Loveless's and went to the childrens museum and Hogle zoo. The kids had a great time. Kylan loved seeing all the animals at the zoo and loved playing in the childrens museum. He thought that was great. I only wish he hadn't been sucking on everything. I can only imagine what kind of germs we walked out with that day. But luckily it didn't seem to hurt him. We have lots of cute pictures that I don't know where I put them on my computer so I will put them up next time.

So Fall Is here!! The leaves are changing all around, infact this last week they went from their beautiful colors to almost brown. I hope fall lasts a little bit longer. I've cleaned my flower beds out of all the old stuff except the weeds. I didn't expect to have to weed again but I think I may have to.
We froze all the corn from our garden. 18 bags. We also did pears (thanks mom for the help)and my wonderful sister-in-law(most of you know who) did peaches for me. I'm almost ready for it to snow!!(not really) We still have 10 tomatoes plants (what were we thinking) in the garden just waiting to turn red. I know they really want to before they freeze and die. I think we will just have to dig them up and hang them to ripen. I was going to make salsa but at this point I've lost the desire to can. I've moved on to funner things like Halloween costumes and Christmas presents Yeah!! just think of all the sewing!! (I hope you all feel the Sarcasm)
As much as I sew I don't love it. But I can't afford to have everything tailor made or maybe I would!! Someday perhaps
So thanks everyone for coming for Conference this weekend. It was realy fun to have you here.
I know the girls loved to see their cousins. So did Kylan I'm sure he just can't say so yet.
I wish we took some pictures but in the last week All three sets of rechargable batteries I own have officially bit the dust. Each only lasts for about one picture so I suppose it's time to retire them after 6 years and get some new ones. Shouldn't they last for, forever so you don't have to ever think about batteries again. All in favor say Aye(or is it Eye, I, or Yea?)

So here is a video of my Happy little boy. He just loves to be thrown around.
It makes him laugh. I've never had a baby who laughed so easily at everything. He especially thinks Bryanna is funny. She can get him laughing just walking in the room.

He stands all on his own now. 8 months old. He's still a bit wobbly but it doesn't seem to bother him much he will still let go if he wants something. kids are so much fun!!

So it's Hallie b-day this Friday. We decided to have Pajama Party since it it going to be late so Dad can come. We were talking it over, whether or not to do it friday or saturday and I was asking Kerry what would be easier for him. Then I decided to just have it Friday so we could get some stuff done saturday and Hallie hunkered down and folded her arms and didn't like that. It took some coersing but I got her to tell me why she didn't want it Friday and she said in her sweet little sad voice "because then dad can't come". Of course we explained that it would be late enough for dad to be home for it.

It was cute. You Dads (if any read this) Don't you think for a second it doesn't matter to your kids if you show up to something or not!! So if any of you want to come feel welcome and if anyone has some great party Ideas for this I'm all ears!!

One last Summer Adventure

This last weekend we had one more summer adventure before it got too cold. We went up to pineview reserviour with my brother who has a boat and spent the day. It was the perfect last thing to do before the weather turned to cold. It was just the right temperature for sitting in the sun all day. Because it wasn't too hot. The water was a bit cold but it was so much fun anyway. The girls had a blast. They enjoyed playing on the beach just as much as they enjoyed ridding the tube.

They didn't get scared hardly at all.

Bryanna got nervous once when she thought they might tip over.

This is Kerry trying to get up on one ski.
Grandma and Kylan enjoying the water.

"What mom?"

Kylan hated the life jacket. It was funny because he was screaming until I pulled out the camera then suddenly he was smiling. I was actually hoping to get his sad face because it was so cute. But no he decided he would pose for the camera instead. Isn't he cute.

This is my little two month old neice. Maddy K.

Who said the baby had to have a life jacket anyway? She would probably just bob up and down if she fell in. Isn't she cute.

.

Kylan loved the sand. I was hoping he would hate the sand and stay on the towel. But too bad. He loved the sand so we spent the day washing his hands in the lake so he wasn't just eating sand

First Day of Kindergarten.

So here is my funny Girl Hallie ready for kindergarten and hour early and begging me to leave.

She was excited. Who'd of thought this would happen given the scenerio from last week. We rode bikes to school together the first two days and she was so excited about it. She went just fine and had nothing but good to say about it when she got home. Yeah!! Yeah!! Yeah!!

It's been a whole week now and she still likes it. For Hallie this is a good thing!!

I guess we will just never know what she's going to do! It's almost alittle weird. She's so yes or no on everything. Maybe she just needed a few days to get used to the idea.
but boy are we glad that Kindergarten is exciting for her and that she is going to go on her own!!

Cambry needed her turn infront of the camera too!! Silly goose!!

Kylan standing on everything. He just climbs up on what ever is in front of him. It's fun

The girls were dancing yesterday and Kylan started dancing with them. It was realy cute. I only got him moving in just the beginning and then he was too interested in the camera to continue. But he sure did like the music before I tried to record it.

Here are a few pictures from the summer.
Kylan is now crawling and is all over the place. He even tries to stand up by himself already.
He's definately more curious than the girls were. He's into cupboards and drawers anytime he gets the chance and he's only been crawling for a few weeks.

He's working on his fourth tooth and is finally starting to sleep better again. I was hoping he would after all those teeth came in. He's so much fun. Still just the happiest baby!!
Cambry and her cousin at Grandma's house in her furniture.
So last night I was quizzing the girls. Math problems and sound games. They love it. Cambry had to go to the bathroom . So she came into my room where we were and went into my bathroom and shut the door a few minutes later I hear "Mom, Mom" "Mom, someone's calling you" so I asked what she needed thinking she would need help and she yells out "what's 1 + 1" so I answered 2. "what's 3 + 3" 6 "what's 2+2" 4. She sat there on the toilet with the door shut and was just having a great time quizzing me. It was funny.
