Our Family Trip

We just got back from Vegas welcomed home with 4-5 new inches of snow and the cold. We had a great time visiting G Loveless. We found the most family friendly things we could and had a great time. We stopped in Zions National Park on the way down. It wasn't too cold. 47 is better than 30 and there was no snow, except for on the high mountains which we weren't hiking anyway. Zions is pretty even in the winter.

Here are some Highlights of one of the two hikes we took. The weather wasn't bad but then the wind started blowing and that was frigid, So I guess I would suggest going in warmer weather if you intend on seeing most of Zions.

Our Cute Family trying not to get muddy.

The girls really enjoyed climbing on the rocks and trying to find a way through with out getting their shoes covered in brown goo.
This one was tricky. Kylan didn't want to be held.

All of us except for Dad taking the picture.

This is our other hike. Hallie had dropped her apple and it rolled(without slowing) and bounced down the mountian into this little stream. So kerry followed it down off the side of the road to see where it had gone. Of course the rest of us followed. It was a cool mini canyon with lots of ice and slippery places and not too many flat spots. It was a fun little hike(when the girls weren't whining that they wanted daddy, I suppose mommy isn't as stable as dad is on the scary parts) and we found the apple floating in one of the pools.

On to Vegas

Watching the fountain show at the Belagio

Very cool too bad I didn't get any photos of the fountains.
Our one eating out experience. It was fun. then we went to see the lions down the hall.
We had to visit M&M world and of course buy the most expensive M&M's in exsistence!!
Way to go Me. Open my mouth and agree to something before I know what I'm buying. You would think that they would at least taste better than the ones you buy in the grocery store !! Nope just the same, chalk that one up with once in a life time purchases.
We even got to see a real live Mermaid. Kylan was mezmorized by the bubbles. Cambry cried because she wanted to be a mermaid too "right now". I guess we could have thrown her in the tank to see how she liked it. J/K She was sad because she didn't get to swim at Grandpa's either. The pool was broken.
Valentines Day the kids all got a stuffed puppy with hearts and got to decorate heart pancakes with strawberries and bananas.
We had a great time. Thanks for letting us come stay with you Dad!!

Mom told me how sad Cambry was that she didn't get to go swimming. Too bad she saw the mermaid and all of the pain of not swimming came back to her.

Looks like you guys had a ton of fun. Hopefully Spence and I can make it down there.

Loved being with you and the kids. It was fun having you in Vegas with us. We'll keep looking for kid-friendly entertainments for the net time you come.

Love, Mom
