HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYANNA!!!!

Bryanna has been counting down the days until she's 7 and as soon as she was she said "only one more year till I'm eight". Boy it's going to be a long year!! We had a great day here at the house. It was very busy. I got up early to go to the gym. Then we dropped Kerry off at the dentist while the rest of us got Bryanna a birthday present. Of course she had to go watch dad get his teeth cleaned so it would be a surprise. But she didn't mind. She wouldn't even sit in the back seat of the suburban because she said it was too hard not to peak. So she exciled herself to the front. Hand over her eyes while she climbed in (just in case). It was funny.
Then we went to check out brick (for a porch)in the hour before Cambry's appointment. She got the cast off Yeah!! Unfortunately she is still not suppose to do anything serious for 3 weeks. You might as well have put another one on. It would be easier than trying to keep her from running around too much. But she is doing great we have to work on bending it though it seems to be a bit stiff obviously. After that we had to get lunch and kerry needed a haircut. So off to Walmart the superstore where you can get everything. (I hate shopping there by the way) but when you need lunch, a hair cut, and the icecream for the party where esle can you go. It's amazing
Then we went home for the party. Bryanna wanted a luau. When asked what she wanted to do she said the girls can do the Hula under the Limbo stick and the boys can too if they want.
She also wanted fruit drinks with little umbrellas and cherries ontop. Unfortunately we forgot the cherries but she liked the drinks anyway.
Of course we had to have a water party being the end of June. It's a no fail party. Pull out the water slide add food and everyone is happy. They had a great time. Everyone got a flower lei, sunglasses and a bottle of bubbles just to set the mood and they had a great time. And not a lot of work for mom and dad. I wish they all could have summer birthdays.

Without the cast Cambry even got to enjoy the water. We made her go byherself (at least twice) but that didn't last long. She did great until the end when she rolled over on her arm to get off the slide. We were afraid she might have broken it again the way she was screaming. What kind of parents let there kid go on a waterslide the very day she gets her cast off. we do!! I felt terrible but twenty minutes later she was her happy self again thankfully. I would have hated to have to explain to the doctor why we were back already. Must have just been the shock of bumping it. and having had three pins pulled out 3 hours earlier. hmmm

of course we had to have cake and icecream.
And don't forget the presents!!!! One of these years we are going to do a no present party. Do you think the kids will go for that?!

And then we had more sliding,
Food and......

more sliding and........

more sliding....
and more sliding
we set up the pool too just incase someone didn't want to slide. Hallie enjoyed both. She wants a swim party now too. Who thinks they would be up for it in October. Maybe we will just have to go to an indoor pool.

Kylan also enjoyed being there!!! he's still growing He's rolling all over the place now and can sit by himself but watch out he still falls over sometimes. He's like to stand up so when ever he get excited he straightens himself out and crash. He's face planted it a couple of times good thing it's not too far to fall yet. He's a cute one. Still a happy baby!!!

Home right after Cambry broke her arm. She did great considering. She get the cast off and the pins out on Wednesday the 25th. Also it's Bryanna's b-day and we are having a party that afternoon. if anyone reading this wants to come let me know to plan on you!!!
She got her pink cast after her doctors appointment and after the swelling went down.
I thought his pants made a great hat. He didn't like it that long though.

We had two plants bloom this spring. One was a bleeding heart it front and the other is this lupine which is taller than Cambry. Hopefully we will have more next year

Been Busy!

Things are just going as great at they ever have been. We only have one more week of school. Yeah!! Summer is on it's way!! (I hope) We had such nice weather a week ago. My tulips were in bloom and the girls were enjoying the outdoors. We did egg carton crafts.

But now we are back inside. Hallie has been cooking again!! I tried to convince her to make something edible but she simply had her own idea of what was going to go in her little cuncoction(sorry 'bout the spelling) So she got out a big bowl, added milk, olives, orange slices,
1 choco chip(apparently you can have too many), 1 cup sugar vanilla, flour, and two eggs. Hopefully no egg shells but between her and Cambry you never can tell.So after mixing this of course she wanted to bake it.

So we stuck her olive pie in the oven for 20 min. And low and behold it came out solid looking like a real something. I forgot she also added walnuts. The ones she had spread out on the counter for the mice who live in our basement(playing cinderella at the same time as cooking, There aren't really mice incase you were wondering:)

Can you say oooh Yummy, at least until she tasted it. Needless to say two days later when she wanted to cook again. I had no problem talking her into something she could eat this time. Cupcakes!! I'm going to have to make her a picture recipe book. Because again this morning she got out a quart jar added milk, baking soda, and a marshmellow. Atleast it wasn't the lemon juice flour and baking powder she tried last time. She just grabs whatever is in front of her. Unfortunately she used up all of the lemon juice and it took me a while to figure out what she had actually but in the jar.

For the rest of the family, Bryanna had a talent show
this week in which she jumped rope. It was cute. Cambry is being a great big sister. Reading stories to Kylan and making him laugh. The video if of Kylan laughing. In the video try to hear him over his sisters giggles. He is the happiest baby. We also had a doctors appointment this week. 18lbs 6 oz , 27 in. So what do you do when a baby outgrows his carseat before he can hold himself up??

Hopefully he will slow the growth spurt just a little bit!!

The girls all got hair cuts as well (for summer I guess) Dad was a little dissappointed we didn't ask his permission first. What is it with guys and long hair anyway?
